Services
Mobile Nursing is designed for people on the Tasman Peninsula who need practical, short-term or ongoing nursing support at home, without overcomplicating the process.
Common enquiries include wound care at home in Nubeena, home nursing in Port Arthur, aged care nursing visits across the Tasman Peninsula, and short-term RN home visits after hospital, illness, injury, or surgery.

Assessment and dressing support for suitable wounds, skin tears, post-operative wounds, and ongoing wound care plans. Helpful for Tasman Peninsula residents who have been discharged from hospital, are unable to easily attend a clinic, or need an RN to review and dress a wound at home.
Complex, deteriorating, infected, or high-risk wounds may require GP, wound clinic, hospital, or specialist review.
Nursing assessment, cleaning, dressing, and monitoring advice for suitable skin tears and minor wounds. Useful for older adults, fragile skin, and people who need prompt but non-emergency nursing support.
Deep wounds, uncontrolled bleeding, suspected fractures, head injuries, severe pain, or signs of serious infection are not suitable for routine mobile nursing and may need urgent medical care.
Home visits after discharge to check observations, review general recovery, support wound care, identify concerns early, and help people understand their care plan without needing to travel off the Peninsula for every concern.
This does not replace medical review, specialist follow-up, or emergency care.
Basic nursing observations and general wellness checks, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation where appropriate, symptom review, and escalation advice if concerning signs are present.
This service does not diagnose medical conditions or replace a GP assessment.
Support with medication routines, medication education, simple medication checks, and escalation where there are concerns. Suitable for people who need help understanding or organising their medication routine.
The service does not prescribe medication, change medication orders, supply medication, or manage controlled drugs without an appropriate plan and safeguards.
Private nursing visits for older adults at home across the Tasman Peninsula, including skin checks, wound support, general observations, recovery checks, and family updates where consent is provided.
This is nursing care, not domestic support, personal care, cleaning, transport, or ongoing carer replacement.
Support understanding what level of care may be appropriate when something has changed, such as whether to contact a GP, pharmacist, urgent care service, or emergency care.
For chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, sudden collapse, severe allergic reaction, or any life-threatening concern, call 000 immediately.

Process
Briefly explain what support you need, where you are on the Tasman Peninsula, and whether there are any urgent concerns.
Mobile Nursing will confirm whether the request is appropriate for a private RN home visit. If it is not suitable, you will be directed toward a safer option.
Jack travels from Nubeena, attends the home, provides the agreed nursing support, documents the visit, and explains any recommended next steps.
Some issues may only need one visit. Others may benefit from a short series of visits, especially wounds or post-hospital recovery.

Pricing
Pricing depends on location, visit length, supplies required, and clinical complexity. You will be told the expected cost before the visit is confirmed.
